Ingredients:

2 Cups Canna flour
1 Tsp salt
4 Tsp baking powder
2 Tsp granulated sugar
2 Eggs
1½ Cups warm milk
1/3 Cup melted Canna butter

Steps:

1.  Preheat waffle iron to your desired heat.
2.  Dry mixture: combine flour, salt, baking powder and sugar and set it aside.
3.  Wet mixture: in another bowl, gently beat the eggs (careful not to overwhip and create a frothy texture to your eggs, it will negatively affect the outcome).
4.  Stir in the Canna butter and the milk.
5.  Pour the wet mixture over the dry mixture and gently beat until well blended. You want it to be slightly lumpy when you’re done, not super smooth.
6.  Using a ladle, pour the batter onto the waffle iron and cook until golden, flaky and crisp.
